It looks spot on, you don't want or need a frying pan on your wrist. My wrist is 8" and I'm happy with mine:

I'd say a hair bit small-ish on an arm that size. However, not too small or obviously / notable small. In fact I likely would not have noticed had you not asked.

Just looks like your a big-ish guy perhaps.

Besides, who really needs a hockey puck or dinner plate strapped to their arm? I firmly believe there is little noe need for anything beyond 40mm andbeyind 42mm is simply clown like. Then again, I'm 5'10", medium build.

this one looks dead on right...and surprisingly so with an 8 inch wrist. It works just fine.

I think it looks small on your wrist. It looks to be too much space above and below the lugs. On the flipside to that I think it looks much better than MANY pictures I see where the lugs are totally over hanging the wearer's wrist.

Wrist thickness is only a small part of the equation, some have a very thick wrist but narrow, others have a very flat and broad wrist, so wrist size is rather misleading. Either the watch feels/appears/looks small, correct or large on a wrist. And then you have to factor in overall body size and shape, style, appearance etc.

Your own gut feel is the only correct measure! :-)

Best of luck,

Patrick

I'm not a fan of big watches, but that one looks small on you. Being Mr. Daytona, you should look into losing some girth, maybe surgically enhance your wrist?

I think it's perfect. That's how a watch should fit IMO.

Too small but that's a problem I want to have. A DSSD or AP ROO would fit like a glove IMO.

No way any 40mm watch can look anything but fine; and no way a Daytona doesn't make your wrist look fantastic.

For what it's worth, I think it looks good. Anything smaller, however, probably wouldn't.
