Honestly you could easily pull off a 44mm with that wrist.

Does it look too small, only YOU can answer that question.

Agreed. 36mm would simply be too small on a wrist that size. 40.. and up!

Did you have to add additional links other than what the watch was supplied with?

If you need to order more links to fit, then the watch is too small.

This is right on the border. Absolutely no smaller than this. You could easily wear a 48mm or so....

I think it looks perfect. Sure, you could get away with wearing a bigger watch, but what's the need?

I I'd not have to add any links, it fit just right with all links, although when I'm hot from physical activity and my wrist swells a little, it can get a little more snug than I like. I think DSSD is in my future. Not just for the size, I love the watch. Tried one on several times.

Personally think it looks quite a bit too small, the DSSD will look much better.

On the smaller side for your wrist, but looks fine. Definitely wouldn't go smaller, as 42-44 mm is probably perfect for you.

I am clearly missing something.

Has the human wrist become substanially larger in the last couple decades? I have a Sub C and a Tudor, both around 40MM. BUT, I still love me classic 36mm. Datejust.

I don't know how anyone could suggest you wear a larger watch. At 40mm, that looks perfect. Anything larger would seem clumsy, affected. And, a nice DJ with a fluted bezel would look just as good. Smaller, yes, but it would still look fantastic.

Why does everyone think they need a big, chunky watch to make an impression?
