I decided against the dome in the end, and went with the T-127. Maybe the slight purist tendencies in me held me back from the dome, so sorry to disappoint...
I do love the dome crystals, and part of me wanted to go for it, but maybe I'll wait and get one on a 1665 one day instead! I think if I had tried the dome on the 1680, it would not have been for long anyway, and I'm glad to have new top-hat crystals on both my vintage subs, and of course pressure-tested/passed. It was still good to see the dial like that anyway. |
