Very true, but I want one now :). I've been thinking. I can probably get a LNIB ceramic for 21K. Is the 3K price difference justified ? I also prefer the yellow over the orange but prefer the ceramic crowns. I'm am too confused for words.

Although I get the difference in technical skills to produce the FC shell and the stainless steel one, I couldn't justify the price difference so I went the Stainless route.

3K difference in price between the two. 3K is 3K :). I have a SS ROO want the ceramic bezel bad.

That was the same reason I wanted the full ceramic...FC will wear very well and hide wear/scratches but they still may occur...Ceramic may be more brittle if dropped, but wear/scratches won't show...

I had thought it would be a great beater/travel watch...then realized how ridiculous I sounded lol

Why is that thought process ridiculous. I think it makes perfect sense in all seriousness.

Sometimes you have to go for the low-hanging fruit.

Odd that he owns all of these nice watches and has never posted a pic of any of them:

Update : The FC Diver didn't work out. Was about to send the wire when this was disclosed, see pics

Now on to the good news : I've purchased Kevin's ceramic diver, the OP who was not comfortable with it.

Incoming shortly ;)

Sorry I should have been more specific. The price difference was almost double, as I bought mine pre-owned from DavidSW. There wasn't any pre-owned FC for sale at the time.
