This is so cool! I don't know anything about the military so thanks so much for finding this out about the ship he was on. I didn't notice that I posted his Social Security number until you pointed it out, but from my understanding I believe he has sadly passed away...

What is stamped on the inside if the caseback?

I love the catalogue that came with it. Did you notice the dial in the catalogue is a meters first dial? So cool.

Now that is one stunning 1680 red, good luck to you and love it to bits

A new TRF seller, a jewelers in Albany, put one up for sale that was in near mint condition, unpolished with perfect even vanilla cream patina. In addition, it has an engraving on the back to A 'Ronald M Huan' and came with the military rolex catalog he bought it from!

So excited, and love the top hat, but not sure whether to put it on a leather strap or wear it on the 9315 bracelet it came on (or get a new 93150). Anyways, thanks for everyone's help to get me to this point, here are a ton of pics, and happy Fathers Day weekend!

My vintage pieces so far, up next, rail dial sea dweller!

Very nice acquisition. Working in disbursing must have been beneficial for DK3 Haun.
