Ok, what does SERTI stand for or mean? Heard it, saw them, OK but, where did this term originate?
Anyone?

Recently, my better half [my wife, for those that think diamonds/sapphires in a man's watch implies something else] bought me a SS/YG sub with the champagne Serti dial. While it is definitely a bit towards the blingy side, I feel as though it is still tasteful. Now I have a choice, depending on mood, not attire. The only downsides are the lack of illumination for the hour markers, and the fact that I am having difficulty in getting used to the magnified date. Her casual watch is a 29mm SS/platinum YM, and her dressy one is a 26mm SS/WG fluted DJ with the MoP dial, diamond hour markers, and Jubilee bracelet. |

Your wife and I have similar tastes. My casual watch is a 29mm TT YM, and my dressier watch is the same as hers, but TT. I love them both.

Sorry, a little late to chime in. Here's mine. I absolutely love it. I also wear mine with jeans a nice shirt/t-shirt. Just enough gold and SS to be not "too blingy" IMHO. And serti means "set".

It is nice to know that classy ladies can have similar good taste, Ms. TH. She is into plat/WG to match her other jewelry; for whatever reason she doesn't particularly care for YG. Thanks.
