Well everyone certainly has their varied experiences on this topic and if you are willing to shop around a significant "deal" can be had!
The bottom line is it is truly an amazing watch and I wish all trying to get one best of luck and hope you do get it!! |

Well that's more or less what I said, I did explain that it's not an AD and that on the expensive models they make very small margins, if he got me that discount on mine I don't think that he will make less of a discount on the platinum version, I know him well so he told me that on mine, 116515 (if I'm not mistaking on the model number) he made 500 euros, he sold it to me for 17.500, when the retail at the AD in Paris is 23.400, anyways very professional and nice grey dealer, I very highly recommend him, especially of you call on my behalf, and I'm not getting any commission, lol [/QUOTE] All good guys |

Art... you've gotten pricing from an AD at $50k on this?
Where? I'll buy tomorrow. |

I've worn mine pretty much every day since I got it...that's worth the price of admission right there.

Seems like this post has been dead for a few years, Curious what, in 2018, people are seeing discount wise here.

Fun thread to read four years later!
I haven't shopped it recently but believe all Daytonas are a little more dear than they were a year or so ago. I'd consider a slightly used one if that doesn't bother you. It didn't bother me. (edit) It's nice to see that many of the big boosters in 2014 are still big boosters today!

I’ve thought about selling mine. Reading this thread made me remember it’s the KING of Rolex! Mine is safe for a while!
I was trying to make sense of my collection, but the whole thing is senseless!

Just read another thread which the OP was offered 30% discount on two. I wonder if it will be the same for one. Maybe you should talk to him and get 3 together. Maybe you will get 35% off!!
