You will never get bored looking at daytona anytime anywhere any place. It suit all occasion :) and most important the size is perfect for anyone.male of female. The size I call it universal.

In conclusion don't matter the size it is Rolex after all. and in fact one of the most iconic Rolex and hottest in the market no matter modern or vintage.

Daytona will absolutely not look too small on 6.5 inch wrist....
The PAM in your photo looks too big on you...

I tried the RG Daytona once and thought it was too small on my wrist. It was a once upon a time grail but when I tried it I just couldn't fall in love with it.

What is all this Daytonas are feminine jibberish? Paul Newman would disagree, and so would I.

Well I'm used to a DSSD as my daily (at the time) and also a AP ROC - I find that the lack of a date on the Daytona worked against it.

Maybe I'll feel differently down the road but at the moment, the Daytona does wear "small" in the Rolex lineup

Here's one on my wrist, which does look a little small on me but certainly not feminine.

If anything too big, the lugs are over hanging on the top.

Watch this Video Review of the Speedway and tell me if this isn't feminine!
Btw, its not Daytona but its homage Invicta Speedway but gets the message across!

Personally I think the watch is not feminine but I've heard this more often than not females loving to wear it or similar styled watches.

Looks good on you. Whenever I have put one on I felt it looked close to a 36-38mm watch on me

Looks great!

Unless you have 8" wrists, the Daytona will look fine on your wrist. As you later mention, your sister's opinion may be skewed by your brother-in-law's penchant for oversized watches.

This gobbledygook must be the end result of several nuclear explosions and head trauma Mr. Bolan has experienced in the...

(And I have owned both the black and white Daytona. Kept the white dial version because the dial is easier to read and looks amazing! )

Ughhh, how does the average-wristed person think 40mm is too small? The Daytona works perfectly on those with wrists anywhere short of gargantuan and is excellently proportioned. I really hate this big watch trend, especially given that I have sub-7 inch wrists.

Judging by the Daytona photo, the DSSD and AP ROC are probably too big on you.....

Appreciate the observation. I have 7 1/4 in wrists but big fat forearms so the look was just off :)

Anyway in the spirit of the thread, if the Daytona sings to you, by all means get it! I'll admire it from afar.

My sister said the same thing to me. But she's 6'8' 350 lbs, so I didn't argue! 😆
