Fell in love with the DSotM - until I saw it up close. The shine on the ceramic (for my tastes) is way too shiny. Was really dissapoitned and would have called it my holy grail watch had the case been more of a matte finish or semi gloss.
For the same price point, why not get a ceramic Panerai, like the PAM 438? |

No, I'd keep the 233 and get the (almost) equivalent steel Speedy moonwatch chrono for half the price

I would much rather own/use a 233 than the Dark Side of the Moon. It could have been a great watch but then the Swatch Group marketing department gets hold of it, prints metal codes on the dial, makes it too shiney and comes up with that name...

I would do it if I had more Panerai in my collection. But if I only had the one 233 I would hang on to it. That DSOM is badass for sure but not as badass as that 233!
