Any SS Rolex will fly reasonably under the radar, IMO (maybe not the YMII)

Why do you need an "understated" watch at work? If you're like me, you spend a ton of time at work and meet a variety of people who may also share your interest in watches. I wouldn't worry about it. The mistake is thinking that people who aren't into watches actually notice what you're wearing - the reality is they don't even see it, or if they do, it doesn't register. A family member asked my opinion last weekend if her YG Lady President with diamond dial/bezel was too extreme. My response was that I've seen more "extreme" looking Michael Kors watches and no one cares.

around here, most likely behind the curve. not a collector or dealer, though i found a good one and can appreciate nice watches. first time i saw a daytona, didn't notice until someone pointed it out

I have a 39mm exp 1 and for the past year nobody has said anything. It doesn't mean people haven't noticed though.
