Well I own 2 but I'm working on a third by next year. I know I'm speaking very prematurely but with 3 I think I'll be pretty set Rolex wise.

Own 3+ even after I gave two sons their own Rolex for achieving a milestone. I am an average working joe and not in the monied or affluent sphere at all.

Since January I've bought eight retaining five. Seems like a good round number to have, I might pare it down a bit if I can find the right trades.

I have three counting one vintage at this time. I have had as many as five at a time.

Three plus would sound about right.

I always assumed you were much older. You have an excellent knowledge of Rolex for a man of 20, Greg.

Keep it up, son

Most would be blessed to own one and TRF isn't exactly a random sampling of the world...Just saying.

I'd say the average Rolex owner owns at least 1 Rolex.

Sounds like AD knows it maybe easier to sell someone on a second Rolex with his little factoid. Not buying it here. I'm thinking the actual average is some small fraction over 1.

I own 5. My first was a TT DJ in 1987. In 2011 I added a TT Blue Sub C, Sub C LN, and Sub C LV. Last month I added a Polar Explorer II.

Only counting Rolex then I own/owned 5 and I am sure a large proportion of people on TRF owns at least 2 to more than 5 but the average Rolex owner (who doesn't browse or participate in watch forums) I would think owns 1.

Average is skewed because of TRF members with a couple dozen. LOL.

Most folks on this forum like Rolex watches and they are likely to possess more than one. But in the outside world, I presume, buy one watch and thats that. Purchasing numerous watches would be considered as a dangerous madness.

Only one for me so far.

But I must say, none of my other brands instilled a need for a second like my Rolex. A BLNR is in my future. After that, we'll see if I become an 'average' Rolex wearer.

Maybe the average Rolex owner has three watches (any brand) that would make some sense. Othervise I would say one Rolex/owner. It is great that places like TRF increase the number, but I doubt it triples it.
