I need to see it in real, but fantastic pictures.
Think I would fit a green date wheel.

I definitely wish this had a blue bezel.

Is it limited? If so, it's nice to see a modern LE from Rolex. If it is limited, I think I'll try to pick one up.

I'm a little surprised to read how many people are already bashing this watch. Full disclosure: I'm not a fan of the DSSD in particular. However, I think this dial combo has potential. No one has seen this watch in the flesh yet, don't be too quick to judge.

Was the initial reaction to the BLNR overwhelmingly positive?

While this watch is interesting, a sub with this combo minus some text would be very interesting to see.

Anyway, if this watch ends up being a terrible flop at least it will be a collectible piece.

I really like it. I already have a black and blue Rolex so I know the colours can work well together. Looking forward to seeing it in person. Fantastic piece of engineering even if it isn't everyone's taste.

And here we were thinking Rolex may discontinue the Deep Sea after launching the ceramic Sea Dweller. This one took a sudden twist. Not for me though.

No - this is almost always what happens. Lovers then haters then lovers then in the end everyone saying how good it looks on YOU!

Wow...just wow.

That is atrocious. Looks like a Bamford slop-together job. Is that even the same font they use for everything else?

Thanks but no thanks "Big R".

I think the color combination is just absolutely dreadful.
...and if I wanted to read, I'd buy a book.

Whether you and I like the blue dial and green writing or not;
It still will the same behemoth size on our wrist and that will still be a turn off to some.
...I do think it is cool how Rolex rolled this out beyond It's natural way of doing things.
