Well, since it appears you are thinking only of a time zone watch, the GMT gets the nod since it is the more powerful tool in that regard. But a white dial would also be a nice addition to the cast. Tough call, but I'm about the function so I'd go with the BLNR.

No wrong choice though, both great watches.

Thanks guys! Does seem the ExpII is more popular which is the opposite to what I thought it was going to be with all the BLNR love on here since it's release.

I that mix I'd suggest the Exp II Polar. GMT timing, extra rugged, more sporty, different dial color. A bit less serious with the orange hand and easy readable...

My 2 Cents.
Bottom line is to get the one YOU prefer on your wrist.
I would choose the BLNR in a heart beat.
And, it's much more popular.
