Apart from the price, the SDc is the best diver in the current Rolex lineup. Period.

Sell 16610 for Subc and keep the Daytona, or, sell the Daytona for SDc, and sell the 16610 and pocket that cash.

Between the two I would pay the extra and opt for the SD.

Depends on your preference. Thicker case + date with shorter lugs and matte dial on the SDC or a sleeker / flatter look with maxi case and jet black dial on the Sub.
They wear very different in my opinion, so try them on and see what works. |

When the feeling is gone, it's time for the next one! Before sending it on its way, wear it some more after some absence to check if the feeling is truly gone.

You can't go wrong. BUT, it's hard to beat the Classic factor and beauty / to price ratio of the SubC.
I'd rather be with a SubC and a few thousand dollars closer to my next purchase. Another thing to consider is thickness. My SubC just clears most of my work shirts. Not sure if that's an issue with the SDC or not. |

SD4000 - would be my choice.
I have the SubC Date and the SD4000 - The SD4000 gets most of my wrist time. Both are great!! JS

I would go for the SD because it´s new and more special than the sub.

SDc! Soooo much to like about it! Had the sub c and although it's a classic, I think rolex got it all right with the sd 4000.

Sea-Dweller 4000 every time. I don't dislike the Submariner, but the 116600 Sea-Dweller is special, just like the two previous versions of that watch.
