15202. It's an icon.

Bumping this thread as I'm considering adding one of these 2. I prefer the white/silver dial as from pics the blue dial doesn't look as 'blue' as I'd like. Would love to hear thoughts on the two...

I also like the silver dial as it seems that it has some kind of internal illumination to it. The Jumbo is really the true iconic Genta design and is a magic piece. It is also thinner and more delicate, which I prefer, and without the second hand, gives it sophisticated elegance. I think if I had gone with the 15300 or 15400, I would have always been lusting after the Jumbo and would lose money in the end.

Regarding the color, I was debating between the 15300, 202, and the Nautilus 5711 as I wanted to add a stainless sports watch with a blue face but the Jumbo won hand's down. The darker blue gave it more elegance and I felt would be easier to wear with a suit. The blue color is absolutely perfect. I imagine that most of the photos that get posted of the Jumbo are a little deceptive as most people (myself included) try to angle the shot in order to get the reflection off of the AP logo at 6 o'clock. As such, the reflection of the crystal probably makes it look a lot darker than it is. The blue of the Jumbo also changes with the lighting or angle.

I would recommend trying them all though to ensure it wears well on your wrist.

Here are a few pics of my Jumbo and one of the 15400 that I tried before.

Good luck with your choice and we'll look forward to pics once you make the decision.

Jumbo, always room for one piece w/o running seconds. If you need reassurance, the tick is beautiful to LISTEN to

Superb pic. I was gonna say 15300 as the Genta blues are more a grey/blue but this will do just fine as well.

Thanks. Every now and again the light hits it perfect and out comes the iPhone. Hopefully while I'm at a red light.

I think the 15202 is more dressy than the 15300 however, the 15300 is an amazing everyday watch that goes well with a t-shirt or suit. It is annoying you'll have to get it 2nd hand, but the hunt took me 6 months which is annoying but in the end, you'll love the watch more!

I tried on a 15202 and at the end of the day preferred the 15300 with blue dial. The 15202 is an icon, but it is "mute" without a second hand. I also have a BLNR to go with it on a SJ bracelet. Both are great everyday watches you can wear to everything and with everything.

15300 for me - I enjoy the seconds hand among other outstanding attributes.

15202 with all the money in the world. For a mere mortal like myself, the 15300 provides great value. Classic proportions and modern touches at a fraction of the price.

Stunning pic! The several recent threads about 15202's are really making me want to get one.

15202. I'm not a fan of the 15300. I don't like the AP at 12 o'clock, the thick end of the second hand on it, or the white date wheel.
