For best results wash nightly with hand soap and warm water. Dry with cotton towel.

To quote T. Ferguson: "Comfortable but snug enough that the case stays centered on my wrist. If it's looser than that the case tends to migrate to the outside of my wrist so I have to "flip" it into position to read the time, and I find myself jiggling my wrist all day long and that's annoying."

I'd say that sums it up for me, only adding specifically that I wear my heavier Sub 5513 a bit higher and tighter compared to when I wear my Explorer 114270 which I wear lower and looser. Whatever is comfortable...

The bracelet should be worn just tight enough so the watch will move with the motion of the wrist. If it is worn too loose, the watch won't wind as efficiently, and if the bracelet is constantly rattling around, extra wear is bound to occur.

Half a pinkie finger under the clasp. Not a full finger - just about half.

I use the ole warm water and soap with a soft toothbrush to get in those tight "in between" places........ will last another 30 years and stays golden!

Micro fiber cloth to dry.

Snug, but comfortable. In other words, sufficiently tight as to prevent it from rotating at all, but not so tight as to cause any discomfort.

What ever feels most comfortable. A bit loose in my case is tolerable. Any thing to tight is really annoying!!!

Mine has to be slightly loose, when my wrist flexes or I contract my forearm muscle it’s painful if even a little snug.

Not tight but not too loose. A bit of movement on the wrist.

Slight bit of movement here. Many years ago I preferred loose but that's changed. Seems much more comfortable not having it slip around.

Judging by your avatar, I think it's because your watch is below the wrist bone, rather than sitting just above it, so that it can be snug and not move around (and also not dig into the back of your hand and limit wrist flex.)

Oddly enough, I think this is what has partially contributed to larger watches becoming popular. People started "sagging" watches a little loose below the wrist bone, so it makes the watch look smaller close to the hand, rather than the traditional way of wearing it snug above the wrist bone on the smaller part of the wrist:

It is below the wrist bone, if worn higher it's even worse as my forearm muscle flexes..

Rolex advises that their watches are watches and not bracelets. They advise wear them comfortably fitting to your wrist. Loose watches, sliding around and up and down on the wrist are those who go in for fads.

It seems a lot of you folks like it tight enough to just slip the tip in.

Snug enough that it does not slide over the wrist bone easily. My DJ 41 needed no adjustment at all (no fiiting required for my 8 inch wrist). Like Cinderella’s glass slipper
