Fantastic, but did notice the copy was removed that said something like, "Here's the watch we built for a rich guy named Cameron"... obviously inspired by Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Funny, but misses the point with the D-Blue, of course.

I don't think it's appropriate to insult someone through text or by photoshopping a picture. This is in bad taste.

Saying a watch is for those with "more sense than money" is an insult. There are plenty of people here that bought that watch, and I don't think that this type of thing is appropriate for this forum.

I appreciate your photography, but this isn't cool.

If you can't see the joke, I don't know what to say.

If you feel insulted, I'm very sorry.

Come on, Jocke, even if it is meant as a joke, the "humour" in this case lies in belittling people who buy the D-Blue. It may be your type of humour but you cannot fault people for not finding it funny to be rude to people.

Just like Borat, some people think it is hilarious, other people don't think it is funny.

I guess my dad doesn't have much sense! He doesn't have a lot of money, but he saved to buy a watch that he liked the look of.
What people do with their money is their own business.

I can appreciate the joke, too; however, there are a lot of watches that cost more just because of a different dial or bezel color, too. it's a personal choice for people and I wouldn't say that they have more money than sense just because they choose to spend more for a watch that spoke to them. There are a lot of people who think that spending any appreciable amount of money for a mechanical watch is absurd, too, which pretty much puts us all in the same boat! Someone using their own disposable money to spend on a material item doesn't owe an explanation to anyone about their purchases. I really like the gmt blnr, and even in the used market that watch commands a hefty premium over the LN version, but, having seen that watch in person, it has a little splash of color that I like better than the LN. Right now, for me, it's not worth the premium for the blnr over the LN, but, if a time comes when the prices become more in line with each other, I would buy it, even at a small premium even though it does the same thing as the LN.

$300 more? In reality much more than that because BNIB standard deepsea models can be bought with a good saving. However this model tends to be commanding list or even sometimes more.

And the BLNR is for the GMT lover who loves blue so much its worth a 2000 dollar premium for a hint of blue on the bezel.

Yep you can pick up a GMT2 black for over £1,000 less than a BLNR (BNIB) despite there only being a £350 difference in RRP

Exactly what I was thinking. I must be senseless because I'd pay the extra 300 if I was to buy a SD.
I also don't see how this joke can be considered offensive. Who exactly is it offending, people with money or dumb people? That's a serious question.
