I used to work for an airline, back in the days before every celebrity had their own private jet as it seems many do now. Met tons of celebrities, I won't bore you with the full list but here are some memorable one's.

Michael Jordan-Many times, played poker at his house one night (word to the wise, don't do that! He's VERY good). Nice guy but sort of moody. I actually knew all of the 1990's Chicago Bulls. For the most part, a great group of VERY big men!

Robert Plant-really nice down to earth gentleman.

Lou Graham (Foreigner lead singer)-met him many times over the years. I used to commute to NYC daily for work and sat next to him a bunch of times. Great guy! Still see him every once in a while.

All the members of Bad Company-they throw a GREAT after concert party ( from what I can remember of it).

Bill Clinton-Super nice guy!

Farrah Fawcett-She was dating my boss for a while. Very nice woman.

Barry Manilow-a real jerk.

Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart)- great girls!

The Grateful Dead (Jerry Garcia days)- Pretty wild group but didn't show a lot of respect for their surroundings, clouds of pot smoke everywhere they went and not the cleanest people I ever met.

Anyway, I could go on but after a while I realized they're all people like us with their own sets of accomplishments and problems. I got over being "star struck" pretty quickly and just treated them like I do everyone else.

Met Wolfgang Puck when I ate at his restaurant, Cut. He went around to each and every table and said hello and chatted with people.

Part of my work is helping some professional athletes after retiring, so I have met a lot. I do have several personal friendships with Greg LeMond, Eric Heiden, and Eddy Merckx. My wife and I also have stayed in touch with actress Meg Ryan whom adopted her child from China at the same time as we did back in 2006. A small group of us get together at least once a year to let our children gather together and have fun, as well as bond as friends that share a common background.

P.S. Why is there a man smoking a pipe in the lower right corner of all the posts. It's freaking me out!

I've met a few people over the years. One that was a surprise was, with us in first class seats on a flight from out west. "Alice Cooper", He was a really pleasant guy that was coming back from a charity golf tournament. He's a great golfer. He gave my kids autographs and chatted with them. They had no idea that the guy beside them could look and act so different on stage. One of the biggest jerks was Alan Thicke, boorish and full of himself. I couldn't wait to get of the flight and lose his presence

I've met Hiroshi Amaya, Dani Pedrosa, Pol Esparagro. Made eye contact with Marc Marquez, Nicky Hayden and caught the vehicle of Valentino Rossi. Met a few cool drivers from the Continental Tire series at COTA, and a few other famous drivers. Seen Mark Webber in his pit box and managed to snap a picture of him looking away from me. I've met the mayor of Lansing, Michigan twice, both old David Hollister and Tony Benivides.

I've also seen and thanked Jan Magnussen and took a picture of my friend with him and a few other world class drivers. I've met a fellow from the ACO as well on the elevator ride up the tower at COTA.

Though out of all the people i met, i met Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, director of Audi Sport and Team Joest for Le Mans and WEC. My friend has his signature and i walked up to him and said this:

"Dr Ullrich, i'd like to congratulate you on your success at Le Mans." and then shook his hand. That was so cool for me. He said "Thank you" and it did sound genuine.

Hoping to meet more.

That's funny, I was taking a leak next to Matt Damon at the WSOP. He left without washing his hands.

These poker players are really nasty, I have to sanitize my hands every 15 minutes. The cards are infected

And last but not least, I played pool with Jeff Bridges while hanging out at a bar in Bozeman, MT! A lot of movie stars live in the Bozeman area either part time or full time.

Famous People You Have Met

Was on a flight to Minneapolis with Danny "Count" Coker from "counts customs" in Vegas and the history channel show. Really nice guy. Talked to a bunch of people in the terminal. And Bruce Jenner in Vegas in the hallway by my room at Caesars.

And I am famous. In my own mind.

I met Margot Kidder, Mike Ferrel, & Elliot Gould when they were filming a movie in Banff, Alberta in 1986 while I was working at a ski resort. They came skiing a few times. I used to live in Yorkville, a section in Toronto where a lot of celebrities hung out. If I passed or sat beside any celebrities I would just nod hello. I never asked for any autographs or pictures. Well..I might have but this was pre-cell phone era. LOL My most famous person I said Hi to was John Ritter. I had started dating my ex-husband at the time & he was pretty shell shocked to see all the fancy cars & pretty people of Yorkville. I was getting impatient & I went ahead to order coffee at Starbucks. Well standing in front of me ordering his coffee was John Ritter. He turned, said hi to me, I did the same to him & off he went to sit at the bench in front of the window to read his paper. In comes my ex & immediately sees John sitting there. He starts pointing & having an attack that John Ritter was sitting right there, as he expressed with his spastic hand motions. What my ex didnt realize was that on a sunny day, you could see the entire display in the window!! The girls behind the counter & I were laughing hysterically. John didnt make any motion, just sat quietly reading his paper. LOL It's been many years but that still makes me laugh.

I had quite a few VIP patients when I worked in the U.S.

Aside from pro athletes (golfers, boxers and basketball players mostly, with Phil Mickelson, Lennox Lewis and Kobe Bryant being the most famous of the three sports I just mentioned) and notable business people (through work)...

Donald Trump - super super nice. Even though he is a business person, I do think of him as a celebrity.

Florida Georgia Line - awesome, very cool guys

Mitt Romney - really great guy

Rudy Giuliani - again, super guy and the best orator I've ever seen speak

Sen Marco Rubio - very nice

One of the nicest human beings I've ever met was "Sweetness" himself, Walter Payton. I and three friends were in the paddock for the Detroit Grand Prix on Belle Isle. A brief, intense rainfall began, and we heard someone whistle at us. We looked over, and Walter Payton was motioning to us to join him under the large hospitality tent next to his Payton-Coyne racing transporters. (Walter co-owned an Indy car racing team.)

We looked around, certain that he couldn't mean us, but he laughed and said, "Get in here. You're gonna get soaked." We joined him under the tent, he talked with us like we were his good friends for 25 minutes until the sun peeked out from the clouds. We thanked him and excused ourselves, and on the way out, he grabbed me and said, "How about a picture." He posed with each of us.

When he died in 1999, there were hundreds of similar stories of Payton's kindness toward everyone he met. Truly a great guy.

Sold Jim Courier a car once
Steven Tyler a few times back in the heyday.
Lots of the Bruins Players: Cam, Sweeney, others, some Sox players, Nomar, Trot Nixon. Pats players, Troy Brown, Matt Light, a few others.
Went to a few Celtics games and Bob Cousy sat behind me - great guy, really great guy.

I have met a few real spies - mostly good, one bad (later convicted) , real spooks, and a defector from Czechoslovakia - that was interesting.

Wow. I was in high school overseas (Germany) in the 80s and met an Army soldier with The Medal. For the life of me I do not remember his name but he was still in the service and he met with some of us. Nobody told us he had the medal and he was not wearing the medal but he was wearing his ribbons with one robins egg blue, with stars, above the rest. Today, I really wish I recalled his name.

Haha - I hate to say it, but he played the jerk (as depicted in the movie) well. Reportedly the real Soebel's family refuted his portrayal. But in all fairness, that "jerk" jumped into Normandy (independent of Easy Company), fought, and later returned to service in Korea. His training of Easy Company, as harsh and miserable as it was, probably saved some of their lives.

Great series. Bought the set on sale on blu-ray at Wal-Mart for $30. Of all the people i met and may meet, i am saddened to say that i will never be able to meet the men of WWII. The heroes are going home if you ask me.

I could see where they might. Training hard and harsh engrains into the mind a certain way of thinking. One might say that it is the only way to do it and i would agree deepening on the subject of training. While he may have played the character harsh and possibly false you can never know unless you were there. I think though, for David Schwimmer to play such a character after playing Ross on "Friends" for a while was a good thing for his career and him personally. When an actor or someone who lives in the public eye, a change of role or scenery is good for the mind.

Charles Barkley at an airport bar in Birmingam. Funny dude and really nice.

Smokey Robinson - I delivered a grand piano for one of his concerts while I was in college.

Reggie Roby (former Dolphins punter) - had dinner at his girlfriend's mothers house with him while living in DC and he was playing for the Redskins in the early 90s.

While leaving my local supermarket, I was approached by Jay Leno for a bit he was doing for his show called something like, What's In Your Basket? I've also seen him on a number of occasions driving around in the cars from his collection. He has to be one of the most down-to-earth people I have ever met.
