I like how it has a grippy bezel yet the bezel does not rotate. Huh? Faux rotating bezel? Nice. Talk about fashion jewelry.

Wow.... I would be embarrassed to wear it since it is such a blatant copy of the BLNR. I used to have a Tag Kirium years ago and loved it. Now I don't think I would ever really waste money on another one.

The amount of hate you guys have because they used the same color combo on the bezel is pretty funny, tbh. You're acting like Tag killed your first born. lol The overall watch design is unique from Rolex.

I though Rolex patented the blue black color. No?

When? The Citizen was made in the '70s.

Poor move by Tag Heuer, I think they're running scared of Tudor re-launching globally

They patented the bi-color ceramic bezel process, as I understand it.

As to the TAG...

I don't understand the strong reactions.

Is it the colors that offend so many?

Would the watch be less offensive if the it were just a black bezel, or if it were just a blue bezel?

I'm actually glad TAG made this watch.

Now there's a watch we can call "Bruiser" and not have the hair stand up on the backs of our necks.

If you forget just for a minute that the Rolex is here and just look at the Tag. It's a good looking piece.
I think it is still a very different looking piece than the BLNR. It's size, fonts, hands, dial all different.
You know, they will sell them too partly because Rolex can't keep up with demand and because Rolex has priced themselves so high. Tag may even sell more than Rolex simply because of pricing.

I tried on a BLNR and I found it to be to small on my larger wrist.. Still I love the style. Just wished for bigger. Would I buy this? probably not. But would I ridicule others for getting it. No I would not.

Other than blue and black, these watches are wildly different. I'm sure the Tag will find many happy owners and, who knows, maybe some of them may want to step up to the BLNR when tastes or budget evolve.....

I wonder how much workplace espionage takes place with watchmaking?

It could be every company automatically replicates any color combination Rolex produces like with all the Pepsi and Coke models available, but why the BLNR black and blue?

If there are workplace insiders it may not only be flattery but an indication of how popular the model really is for Rolex.

Hi!

That TAG has the colors of Rolex and the looks of an Omega PO...
Covering all bases?

Best!

To be fair, they (or rather their manufacturing partner) have been producing eyewear for 12 years

Voice of reason

A lot of hate-mail in this thread. TAG acquired Heuer 30 years ago, so it's probably a bit late to start complaining about it now(!)
