I will most definitely have to pass on this one.

I would never own it....period. When I see Bamford it is kind of like a link to a train wreck video. You know the result and can't help but click in the link. But there are some pretty well known watch companies that are now starting to warranty the PVD coating for life. Shinola is one of them.

Given their long history with Bamford, I would be surprised if RSC would not provide service. Clearly they are not secretive about it - and purchase a fair number of them every year.

Just curious if anyone knows for sure.

What history? I'm not aware of any. I somehow doubt Bamford even purchases these watches directly from Rolex. They sure don't come with a Rolex warranty.

You might as well buy an Invicta or Fossil when you do that to a Rolex.

Well it's something different and I'm sure there is a market. I was watching Conan the other night and noticed he was wearing a PVD Milgauss. Everyone has there tastes and that's what makes the world go round. Bamford has been around for quite some time now making custom Rolex, some are ok and some are just awful like this Exp. I am not a fan.

Horrific. Truly awful.

No thanks. And to think you'd have to pay extra for that treatment.

Watches like this make no sense to me, but hey, I'm not the type of person that they're targeting. Bamford has its fans, no doubt.

What is wrong with me....I like the watch without the crown guards and the domed crystal. I normally hate hacked watches and the gold and hands are throwing me off but removing the crown guards and a domed crystal is singing to me....

I have mixed feelings about modifications, but if I was going to get a modified explorer II it would be this one. If it has the car to match, well even better

Not a fan of mods in general, but I would like to see Rolex offer a TT and solid gold Exp 2 someday.

Yes, I have. I PX'd my customised sub for a Blancpain FF. The store I did this with told me that they had so many enquiries about it that they could have sold half a dozen of them.

On the subject of the "Element 79" - it's not my cup of tea but if you like it then buy it.
