It's a lovely Rolex but if I wanted that look I'd just go stainless steel.

Gold is yellow.

I love the look but for that price point there are many others I would get first.

Its nice but like many at that price points there are many brands and Rolex models I would befriending first. My Root Beer is more than enough GMT for me.

I have a 16700 GMT Master Pepsi and of course love the new incarnation with the C bezel. If my pockets were deep enough I would love to own a new one, but I think like Adam said, it should have been st/st
Mine was bought in 1990/91 and used because I was working aboard (like now) so the 24 hand was crucial. I wonder if new buyers of the new PepC are buying it for looks or functionality.

Mind you, looks alone are a real draw, it is stunning

I'm not sure, I tried one on at my local, AD and it just didn't speak to me. Not that I'm in the market for one

I think at this price point with not much discounting yet, I'd opt for the 718. Different piece entirely, but they can be had in the low 20's

Love it...white gold and an awesome tribute to the previous generations of the Pepsi GMTs.
Unfortunately, you gotta pay to play.
Looking forward to seeing the 116719 at a Rolex AD.

I've had 4 of the SS Pepsi's and I love them. I saw the WG Pepsi yesterday, not impressed.

I personally don't put too much weight on what other people think unless I want their opinion. I know what it is and that's all that matter to me IMO. The color is not the same brightness as the SS Pepsi. There is a real warm tone to the WG. Perfect 'sleeper' watch. Only those in the know will know. People that saw mine only recognizes it as a 'nice looking' rolex.

Everyone "wishes" it were SS. Well, it's not. So you people can deal with wishes or deal with reality. Rolex is moving into luxury goods. You can't afford the ride, don't buy a ticket.

Nay

There are much better watches to be had at that price point. You can pick up the excellent Patek 5164 for similar money.

Agree. I have an issue paying $40k for a watch with a mass produced movement.... unless it weighs 30oz lol

I tried one on yesterday, it's very nice: but not for me. Also could get over how light my 114060 felt when I put it back on.

I love the BLRO - great looking watch! White gold looks awesome. Although... I have to say there are not many I DON'T like!!! Ya know -- even after all of the banter back and forth about Stainless vs All gold...and precious metals. There is NOTHING like a watch in precious metal...the look...the feel...that's all that needs to be said!

No thanks. Would definitely opt for an A.lange or Patek and get the SS Pepsi.

I tried one on yesterday and LOVED IT!

I just dropped 30K on another project a few months ago, so it will be a year or more. As for this moment in time, it is my Rolex grail.

I see what you mean. Must be the gold. I strapped it on, and it felt like it just melted to my wrist. The AD saw I was hooked 100%. So the the wife...

In the time I will save up for this one, there may be a platinum coke release. I'll have to look at that one too.

Have a good weekend.
