He has some vendetta against eBay. He goes on tirades against eBay ad nauseam and it's becoming quite tiring.

That's usually the case when you don't know what you're talking about.

No need to be so condescending. The pictures you attached to your auction are of TERRIBLE quality. Generally when I want to sell something online, the first thing I do is make sure I have high quality pictures taken under sufficient light so that very small details can be seen clearly.

Next time, try taking pictures with an actual camera in a well lit environment rather than pictures that look like they were taken with a 10 year old cell phone in a room with a single incandescent light bulb. Also, you may want to change your attitude because if the pictures didn't frighten away potential buyers, your terrible way of talking to others will.

I too have bought several ROlexes on eBay and none of them were fake. Granted, I do see many fake ones there, but I see far more real Rolexes than fake ones. There are some people, not just on trf, who have a complete hate (distrust, dislike, whatever) toward eBay. I'm not sure why they do, but that is life. As for me, I still buy and sell on eBay.

I don't know...looks legit. Rehaut engraving looks to be there but very difficult to see. Then again, whatever. If the seller wants to remove all doubt, don't post sh*t cell phone pics.

shiny because they are and a flash was used to take the picture which would intensify that effect.

I thought watches coming back from when a RSC look brand new and yours was done in September (a mere 8 weeks ago).
There's a plastic cover on the bezel.

Quite simple really a picture of the service card with displayed serial number and the serial number between the lugs both together ;-)
Somehow I doubt it will happen ...

I am selling my wife's genuine Ladies DJ presently on ebay, bought from greekbum a few years back, so they are not all fake! Why sell on ebay and not here, pretty simple the number of Australians on TRF who are going to want to buy a ladies DJ is limited, e-bay is a bigger baseline, I have bought and sold a number of watches on fleabay without a problem. As for this watch I will make no comment there has ben enough said already.

I've bought and sold a number of high end watches, including Rolex, on eBay. A blanket statement that "all" Rolex's on eBay are fake is just ignorant .

Unless a new black service dial and the black dial on the Rolex website are different then I have concerns about this watch. The SS black dial on the Rolex website has full length minute markers at 27 and 33 minutes, this one does not.

Might be different variants but its something I noticed.

Watch is real, the red daytona letters are raised ink, never see that on a fake

Personally I care less, but I hate to see working class people spend their hard earned money on fakes. Yes, an assumption, but I hardly think doctors and lawyers are buying their Rolex off eBay.

eBay should be shut down until every fake is removed. It steals people's money.
I sold a Submariner on EBay to a Doctor and another Rolex and a Tudor to a Swiss watch collector. FWIW after hundreds of EBay transactions I've been scammed a few times , I was scammed by buyers not sellers.
