So it has been a long time coming but I've decided it's time to get my dream watch. Ive been collecting affordables for years and have bought, sold and flipped watches to finally be able to afford the only watch I've ever really wanted.

The Rolex Submariner 14060 is the watch that made me love watches. But now that I am able to finally afford one I am thinking I should go 114060. I'm looking for some reassurance that I am making the right choice. I've got some friends that say buy the 14060 "that's the one you always wanted" but I have other friends saying buy the 114060 "buy new, you will have it forever and all of its history will be on your wrist" plus it's a better built watch.

So what say you TRF... I think I've decided 114060 am I doing the right thing?
