Send it to RSC for a quote, seems like a straight forward replacement of half a bracelet of permanent links without the clasp and removable links.
That oakley case protected the watch case and crystal? Seems like a good thing out of a bad accident. |

I haven't anything to add on the repairs side of things, but hats off to you on how you're handling the situation.
Do keep us posted as to how it pans out. |

Buck I
I kept thinking about your story all day.... Your Father must be an incredible guy to have raised a son whose first thought is about his Dad's feelings. I hope I have done half as good a job with my son. |

I was wondering what could have done that to a bracelet. Keeping my cool during something like that is very admirable to say the least. Hat's off to you man.
I like the half bracelet idea versus a repair...by far. Please update us when it's done.

I'm very impressed with your reaction. I wish I could react like that however I suspect that would have spoiled my day.
Please keep us updated. |

Thanks everyone
Thank you, I appreciate this post. These four links are indeed the half bracelet mentioned earlier. My AD was very accommodating on the phone this morning. I was told this part will take 6-8 weeks to arriive. I will disclose my final costs when the watch is made whole. And again, thank you to all. The replies are very kind. |

This seems like the best, most direct route to getting back to normal.
Congratulations for your presence of mind and regard for your father's feelings.
