I say keep the Sub. The YM like everyone said is confused. I like the YM for its bezel and grainy Platinum dial but not the blue dial.

I would definitely do it. Love the blue Yachtmaster and hate the green Sub.

I have a few Rolex's and must say the SS/Plat YM w/ blue dial is my favorite. There is something about the platinum bezel, sunburst blue dial and red second hand that just makes the watch sing to me.

I would do the trade. The 116622 with the blue dial is a true work of art, not to mention the upgrades to the clasp.

I wear my rolex because of its beauty. I agree that lv sub has increased value a lot since its discontinue. But for look department i dont think lv aniversary can't beat this beauty. My opinion of course, no offense intended. Good luck with your decision

Yep, the one rolex I have never and will never own/understand for the reasons you stated.
Not to mention an absolutely scratch prone bezel that's extremely hard to refinish and expensive to replace. And the high polish vs brushed is another reason to stay away. However if you must....platinum dial is the way to go. Not blue. Blue Milgauss, blue yacht master, blue is the current fad...platinum dial is the one timeless thing going for the YM |

I wouldn't trade the 50th anniversary LV for a YM personally, as it'll be much harder to find the LV again in the future.
