Change the rules!

If money was no issue go for a Patek 5170 or Lange Datograph.

Money is not really an issue with us. But I still would not buy a Gold Watch and definitely not a Yellow gold watch. Stainless is harder and with the polished bands (like the PIIs found on Brietlings) offers plenty of bling. I could live with a SS Daytona if I needed the Chronograph.

That said I still cannot wrap my head around even an $8000 watch. Old habits die hard. We will always be bargain hunters. I think I enjoy the hunt more than the catch whether cars bikes and now watches. Keeps me busy.

I love the added weight and heft of gold/plat, so I'd definitely go with that

If money wasn't an issue, I'd go for a vintage Daytona
But if that option isn't there, a PT Daytona .. Biased opinion as I've owned 2 diff wg daytonas before and didn't appreciate either of them

If money was no issue, I would go Patek Philippe 5980 in rose gold.

I'd go with the white gold as I like the lume in the Arabic numerals and I find the red hands easier to read. I used to have a white faced SS but since I could never tell the time in the subdials I sold it.

Cheers,

Jonathan.

Yes. Without a doubt. If money was not an issue all my watches would be white gold.

Yes, I would go for a WG Daytona or better yet the Platona.

Sure, why not?

If I didn't like it I could just give it away.

Remember, money is not an issue...

I am not into full wg but tachymeter on the wg is sensational over ss and two tone Daytona
A meteorite dial with leather strap is the way to go for me becquse I wouldn't like to throw out that hefty amount money 💵 for wg bracelet
