Watches on #2, #20 and #30 are all fake in terms of the bezel. The first time I thought maybe Rolex put new bezels on the latest GMT TT models so I was just curious and googled when they did it. Apparently, Rolex didn't! Can't believe punks posted pics of their fake watches here. Honestly, it didn't feel good since everybody said how much they love GMT TT but failed to spot obvious flop. I am not even a watch enthusiastic and I can tell. It feels like millionaire talk to people who pretend as millionaire about their luxurious lives.

Never mind. They might be vintage GMT II. I am too young to know.

Sorry, I think they are vintage watches. Definitely not fake.

The watches you referenced are the 5 digit series GMT Master II's. Glad you realized your error as it is pretty insulting to accuse these members of wearing and posting fake watches. The member who posted on #20 is a friend of mine and trust me, he does not wear fakes.

Perhaps more research should be conducted on your end before any posts are made.

Yea it certainly takes the backseat in terms of popularity as well as I would imagine sales. I'd rather a bluesy or TT DJ myself, but I'd certainly take it over a black dial explorer 2...the ultimate dog amongst Rolex sports!

Sorry....I almost forgot about the AK...

First off the GMT II is my favorite all around Rolex model. The BLNR is my daily watch. I bought a new 116714LN and had it for less than a month when I decided to upgrade to an 116718LN. I like Rolex TT watches but wanted to have an all YG watch for occasional use. The TT GMT is a Rolex classic.

I came really close to buying one; I love the look. It may be my favorite GMT. The one I was looking at was a five digit however.

Hi Guys ,

Cant believe I didn't reply to this thread when it was fresh ,but better late than never . Its not an everyday watch for me, its more of a weekend wearer . Love the way the light changes the gold tones, & is just that bit different from the SS version. Also I think one of the possible reasons its not as popular with people is ,because it is more expensive being TT. It might be slightly out of reach of many people, as watch collecting can seriously dent your finances ( including me ), but I think this is true of many other Rolex models & other higher end brands .Also its not to everyone's taste ,but that's also true of so many watches I wouldn't want to own.

I was not normally a fan of TT watches until I tried this one on, stunning IMHO, never understood why they aren't more popular, love mine.
