You guys crack me up with the whole PCLs not being on a "workhorse" watch. Will PCLs scratch? Yep, just like non PCLs. It's still a Rolex and not some fragile paper mache.

Sub has the Glidelock, GMT does not.

I think the point is, if you're gonna scratch the crap out of it, it will show a lot more on PCLs. If you don't care about that, more power to you. Nobody said the watch was fragile.

There is no right answer to this classic question.
The real question is: Which one should you get first? |

Hulk first. Better discount now, blnr later when prices settle. Unless you are able to get a good deal on both then I would flip a coin lol

I had the same dilemma.
I chose the GMT as I already have a sub, but the green sub is definately next on my shopping list! |

My personal choice would be the LV. The Glidelock is honestly what does it for me.

It's all about your preference...the Hulk has grown on me recently...but I am still partial to the BLNR out of the two...just me

Had the same decision a few days ago, walked out with the BLNR. I'll probably end up with the Hulk too so I'm not sure if it counts.

BLNR - gets my vote, way more versatile, can dress up or down, hulk is cool but don't think I'd wear green every day.

Very tough decision. I love both but recently I've been really loving the Hulk and in different lights it changes its appearance and I really like that.

The hulk looks nice, but the BLNR looks nice and is interesting especially to non-WIS. When my friends ask what that 4th hand is for they are fascinated that a non-digital watch can tell multiple timezones.

BLNR because:
More "useful" / versatile. More complication. More complex bezel. Cost a bit less (at least before 1/2/15.) Less bulky lugs/less square case. The 1st. Rolex with that colour comb. The Hulk is very nice, but too expensive for what it is. I had 16610LV before.

These threads usually end up close to 50/50. 2 of the best modern SS references.
You can't go wrong with either one. I bought the LVC first. |

Can't go wrong with either. Something to think about:
a) Batman - awesome black blue bezel but it's static b) Hulk - amazing dial that's ever changing, therefore dynamic. Your heart, your call. Good luck |

Owned both. Hulk fell more in the "workhorse" category for me.
