Thanks Greg. Prefers this. She's been wanting a Sub for ages, but her wrists are too dainty for either of mine, and she doesn't like leather or nato straps. Maybe I can get the DJ back now!

It looks like it wears a bit better, and I know, I thought one of your subs were as good as gone! I haven't seen one in the flesh but i've always liked the idea of his/hers Subs.

Awesome watch Adam! I did not know there was a mini sub. I wonder if my wife would like that for a daily watch! It looks great on your Mrs! Congrats!

I'm not usually into his'n'hers anything, but you're right, these do look pretty good together. ...and thanks again to everyone for the great comments.

That's awesome value Adam.

Huge congrats to both you and you're wife. It's a great looking watch.

Bought my wife a SS DJ for her birthday last year and she loves it but now Adam has me thinking about something else along these lines to give her options. Lovely watch and I love my new big block so...I'm gonna start looking. Hope the market is not driven up as a result of this post. LOL

Do you know about what year it was manufactured? I know RSC won't work on a lot of older Tudors (like mine).

Aha. That explains it, as mine was a 1979. Thanks! Beautiful watch, and I wish you and your good lady a long and happy life with it.

thanks for your pm. Seen one that has 73090 between lugs, but 9440 on caseback. Is this possible? Suggested date of 1980???

Very cool watch, I've seen different colour bezel inserts for that model if she ever fancied a bit of colour.

I don't know, sorry. It's hard to find a history of the mini sub references. Maybe the Tudor Anthology book?

Thanks, I just checked. There's a red one and a blue one on ebay for $799 each. That's almost what I paid for the whole watch!

Wow that's a lot!
Slightly cheaper here

But I guess keep an eye out for a cheaper second hand one

Hmmm...165 euro. That's still quite a lot more than I paid for a GMT Pepsi insert recently...I guess they must be scarce or something. Luckily she likes the black one anyway

I will PM you when I am in HK if that is OK? My Mrs would love a mini sub.....
