Rolex has so many black dial watches, I would go with white to help balance a collection.

Plus, I've found the white dials hide smudges on the sapphire more than a black dial does.
Agree, I had a crisp white DJ, but for DJ2 blue would be first choice then white.

Out of the three I'd go for silver. A bit different from the norm.

If you're going to go with black, get a roulette date wheel. It's boss.

You can't go wrong with the black. However, most of my watches have black dials so I would opt for the silver.

I am wearing a black dial date now.

I feel that it transitions the best from day to night. I actually think it is dressier than the lighter colors. Especially for men, who wear dark suits/pants more often. But it is perfect for the day as well given the more casual bracelet.

Come to the dark side!

Black looks a lot more legible than the rest. Would get that. Only Rolex I like with white dial is new explorer 2 with maxi dial and hands. Very clear and easy to read, but I know not many people like that watch.

Definitely Silver. Makes it less sporty. Unless you want sporty, in such case black :-)

If I did not have a sub I'd vote black. Silver makes it an elegant dress watch so silver for my vote. Great ref the DJ and DJ Ii

Sylver is my choice. Sylver goes with everything and in real life its like a chameleon, it change with the light giving different colors like grey, white and light brown.
