No doubt that our friend loves his Rolexes, but he definitely has a wandering eye. Zemina is the only love that will be permanent with JJ. I think he'll flip before year's end. I think he'll get another Bluesy if it looks like they'll ruin it with a ceramic bezel and a powder blue dial. Rawhyde |

ok. here's my prediction: you will flip the Platinum Yacht Master when you decide to buy the TT GMTI-ceramic that you have a bad bad need to get!
In fact, if I didn't know better(famous last words), I'd say you already have plans in the works to get that TT GMTII-ceramic. best, dan |

I'm not really sure JJ.
I can tell you really love Platty and its probably one of your favorite Rolex watches you have owned but based on historical events, I really cannot decide. So I voted for the third option which I think is the best answer for now!

When I know the name JJ and he starts off with the TT Blue Sub,
follows by EXP II White and then Yatch Master. Out of the three, the TT Blue Sub looks better on JJ wrist. I vote YES...and should go back to TT. |

Thanks for all your replies, guys.....some quite funny.
The fact is Platty stays. For one, I cannot afford to flip it for any other. Yes, there are many out there I do love, but there can be only ONE Rolex with a SOLID PLATINUM dial and bezel.....and Platty's the one. Sorry to disappoint you, guys.....but Platty stays. I just set up this poll to see how most of you would react!!

JJ I think you will, but first you will have a round of successes and become a 2 Rollie owner again. Then you will feel flush, and less attached to Platty, and will have a moment of passion at the AD. I think you will have to have the GMT 2 C because you like large bezels. I think you will want one of those someday somehow.

I once heard you say that Bluesy was a keeper. Now it's gone. So I really don't think Platty stands a chance.

Bluesy Propaganda...
You know what, JJ? You poisoning our mind with your "BLUESY PROPAGANDA" so many time. Then after working (yes, you poisoning my mind at least), you left the Bluesy "Good Bye" and starting now with Platty.
What's next, Pal? GMT II-C tt? Or the new DD? lol!!! j/k |

Yes I DO think you will flip Platty at some juncture in the future. This is based upon validated past performance, JJ!

A year ago, many of us would have said the same about he and Bluesy!
JJ, "when" you decide to sell Platty, I want dibs on it because it will be fun to own one of the watches JJ "will never flip!"

I voted yes...if the right deal came in on a DDII and a few of your numbers came up on the old lottery, you might need to flip to ensure the Prez!!!!!
Looking at the figures, there ain't many who have faith in you Old Boy!!!! J |
