You'll need a PP at some point:) Nautilus or Aquanaut

I think that GO would be a suitable add to your current collection.
Steel Panomatic inverse is about 16 K, it looks great and it is dressy
whereas your current watches are more sporty excluding the JLC.

Nice collection! I had the Striking 10th for a time! Also a ND! However I think you need some colour in there all the watches a quite reserved and think you need a little bit of something different! Time to go Gold! Fuck it a gold sub!!! or a gold offshore!!! However grab your nuts when you go for service with the AP!!!

Go with an Omega (DSOTM) It is a different brand than you already have, plus it is a different material and it can be had brand new for well under your budget.

Based on your criteria and budget, I'd have a look at IWC.

Congrats on the acquisitions !!!!

Heading to NAB looks like we are in the same business.

White Gold Day Date40... Royal Oak Steel would also be a contender

That's killer, certainly don't see one everyday

The pano blue is gorgeous too.
If you are looking for something out of the ordinary consider maybe a Ulysee Nardin Marine.
Nice collection !
The Sub is on a bracelet, it's been in the deposit box for almost a year, just forgot to swap out the nato before I put it in.
Thanks! The RO/ROO are in the horizon. The Genta silhouette fits my criteria perfectly.

That's awesome, but not interested in another non-PM Rolex for the time being. I think the black Sub and white Daytona should tide me over till the next crown.

Big fan of the blue Monaco. Waiting for a refresh and longer PR, I think the last reference was released almost 5 years ago?

Thanks! In my younger years, I bought too many "wrong" pieces, so I'm wising up. Actually thought about the Reverso and Rad for years before adding them. I like to have 1 modern interpretation of each classic.

Another icon, but in the same category as my Sub. Would certainly like to own one, but after I've explored other silhouettes.

Absolutely a must own. I may just skip this $10K purchase and go for my 1st AP or Patek.

I will say you do have a good plan. You cannot go wrong with simple timeless designs. Which tells me you are already thinking ahead.

Honestly, with what you already have, I may save up to get a PM piece like a Smurf. You seem to have the means to get yourself a VERY nice piece... That's what I would do.
Good luck on your next purchase!
Thanks for the kind words. I think my next watch needs to be a PP, AP, or Lange. Just wondering if there's any other refined classics around the $10K range that I should add before going up.

As far as watches though I think you need a pilots watch, My recommendations are either a IWC Big Pilot (5002 if you can find one) or the BLNR, mine is the darling of my collection at the moment but I'm expecting a SubC no date next week which will be my beater, everyday watch similar to the 14060M I see in your stash.

I checked out the JLC ultra thin in Beverly Hills today, and I have to say i'm really liking the rose gold moonphase, just not sure if I'd go black or white.

The MUT 39 is still on my list. Gorgeous piece, and the new black dial is a great addition.
I'm in manufacturing and will be exhibiting at NAB. Thanks for the suggestion!

God, this dark JLC dial is to die for. Beautiful.

Great choices, especially the Daytona and the PAM. We had similar lines of thinking this year.

I'm heading to NAB too. Although no time or funds for watch shopping this year, unfortunately--

Everyone travels a lot in the AV media biz. Why don't you have a GMT?? I'd look at Pam 233, explorer II, etc

If your budget is $10, wait till its a little more and add an AP.

You could do a 15400 or diver in that price range. A navy, Safari ROO would be +/- $14k

You need an AP in the collection.
