In the end I went with a Ceramic Sub 114060 which is sitting nicely on a sand coloured Zulu diver / NATO strap (although I also have a 'bond' strap which my better half prefers).

Grab yourself a 2-liner and don't look back.

I recently bought my 1st Rolex after flipping other watches for around 5 years.
I was looking for a tritium dial 14060, but they seem to be very much in fashion here in the UK, especially nice cream patina ones!
Finding what I wanted was difficult and would cost a lot. In the end, my friend found me a lovely 16600 Sea Dweller. I've not regretted buying it and I'll not look back.
Only had it a month, but I know it's a keeper.
Basically I didn't want a date bubble model, but I do find the date useful on a watch.
Go and try a few and take your time.
If you plan to have one watch, do your research, enjoy looking and buy the right watch once.
