I'd go sd4k, however, I think I heard they aren't coming with matte dials anymore (can't recall the thread)...If that's true, I might reconsider

I'll let you know on Wednesday (before 10:30 am) if the dial is matte.

Pelagos has a better lume than all Rolex dive watches. Will this attract you to take a closer look at Pelagos besides its blue face and in-house movement?

Pelagos all the way
I would have the Pelagos! Had mine for 3 years it's a two liner! I think it's a great piece of kit! It's a watch lovers watch! It may be a great investment too! I love wearing mine because it's classy and doesn't look blingy and looks good whatever you wear! Pelagos all the way!

Matte dial or not no Tudor or most other brands are going to satisfy the desire for an SD. Glad you stuck with the plan and got the SD.

I have had my SD4000 for 2 years now, there is no way I'd pick a Tudor Pelago over it.

You may consider a Tudor bb blue black or red. Closer to the sub and a real bargain. Just a thought.

Well since we are bumping I own and love both. Two must have divers imho. If there's only room for one I'll take the sdc.

I have both, well the black 2 liner pelly to go with the SDc. The pelly is my everyday watch, flies way under the radar. I'm not comfortable with a Rolex at work. The pelagos has been great. The SDc is for weekends and nicer occasions. I'd have a hard time picking only one, I really enjoy them both

SD for me hands down. I'm just not in to the blue on the pelagos. Just doesn't do it for me.

I have a blue Pelagos and the SDc. Both great watches. If I were to only have one however, it would be the Rolex.
