If it's any consolation, had you lost a gram, you would have been back to the RSC in arms... If your scale is only accurate to the gram, it could be rounding up and creating much to-do about nothing...

There's a new thread idea for you, JJ... How much do your stickers weigh? Only the finest watches in the world, Rolex, offer heavy duty stickers that put all other's to shame!!!

Well actually JJ, you ARE losing some mass off your watch, BUT it is only micro/milli grams.
Any form of polishing removes some material. The butchers scales are only accurate within 1 gram or maybe 5 gram increments (depending on how they are calibrated). If you put it on proper jewellers scales, which measure on a very small scale, you will note a slight difference (maybe). In any event, some mass is lost. BUT, this is the price we pay to make our beloved watches look like new. Well done buddy, she's a beauty. John. |

It was done by RSC so I'm sure the guys barely touched it. It's as if the hand of God lives there, still being omnipotent of course. But all jokes aside, RSC tries it's best to barely touch the case, so very little was removed, not enough to even try to measure.
