Same. For me it's a breitling airwolf raven on rubber strap.

The value is so minimal due to the sized strap that it would never be worth it.

Otherwise nothing in my collection is safe.

Ever.

Even if I love a watch, I prefer to flip more.

For me, it's my SD 16600. Bought it at 30 upon completing my MBA, and to celebrate the birth of my first daughter. And it's been present at the birth of my 2 other children as well.

It will probably be the last to be sold if I ever am in a position where I need to liquidate. But I guarantee it will be passed on before I leave this planet.

Chaps

I am begining to wonder if my mind is too simplistic for its own good.

I own 5 watches.

I have a gold JLC for formal occasions and I will never sell it.

I also have an Omega Constellation that was my daily wearer for 28 years and although it was serviced and now in the safe, it is part of me and again, like the JLC, I just cannot bring myself to sell it.

I have bought 3 Rolex in the last 18 months, a 39mm Explorer, a 16610 Sub and a Frecionne and again they will never be sold.

I bought these watches because I wanted them and I have continued to want them.

I am surprised some of you guys hang onto your wife instead of flipping her after a couple of years ---------- on reflection may be not such a bad idea

Regards

Mick

I'd like to say I will keep my SD4000 forever but I'm a sucker for flipping.

I have two vintage pieces (Gold Longines and Atlantic) that I got from my father/grandfather.

The rest are always available if the price is right.

I would never sell my JS Watch, under any circumstances. I wear it every day and is easily my favourite watch.

My 1966 Omega Speedmaster which my mother bought for my father when they got married. He passed it down to me, and I will pass it down to one of my sons.
