Thanks! The smurf is a flat blue, not sunburst. The lighting in that pic is just strange and cool that way. I store watches crown up most of the time, but also on a watch roll. You can regulate your Rolex by changing the positions, but don't think it makes much of a difference.

I think you're okay taking pictures in the bathroom; of course, that entirely depends on what you're doing in there!
