happened to me on both a rolex and omega. Maybe i'm just unlucky. Glad you got it fixed. I'm never a fan of opening up a watch unnecessarily especially when brand new - but i've done it twice and nothing bad happened :)

Very very true! I'm so impressed with the watch that I still love it but this issue does make you wonder. Doesn't help that this was my first new purchase, the irony being that I assumed it would be perfect!
