Truth. The clasp on my BN SubC was fully scratched up after a month - I attributed this to desk diving - the clasp was constantly rubbing/brushing against my cuff/laptop.

There's a little copper pocket rivet on every pair of jeans that's perfectly aligned to 'kiss' your clasp when you swing your arms.
