You should look at Day Date next. They are not at all Sub-like, there are a lot of options, and the hunt may excite you.

Milgauss has a few options too.

That's not a problem, no rule that says you must have many Rolex's. You have a Sub, that's more than most people ever get...

And as many as one person could ever need. Enjoy it.

Sorry, but I think you're just trying to get a rise out of people especially with your most recent posts. In my limited experience with this forum, practically everyone here is encouraging, thoughtful and considerate and they embrace the spirit of the Rolex timepieces and those who enjoy them. If you like the brand, fine....if you don't, you have every right to look elsewhere....stop trying to create some "drama".

I see your point kind of. I can't justify GMT because I already have a Sub. That's why got the Explorer 2. Along with those two, I have a DateJust.

No other models in the range are calling my name at the moment. Which is why I'm looking at other brands.

Doesn't mean I'm hating on the brand or getting rid of what I have. Just means that I have all I like from Rolex.

I think your tone was rubbing people the wrong way. Maybe you should elaborate more.

You should research the history of the brand. They have a very specific philosophy and the model lineups make sense. They've successfully kept things very simple and basic and have not really deviated from that.

You might enjoy seiko or citizen watches more. Good luck!

Fair enough. Although as a former hulk owner, I must say the hulk is superior to your sub

Someone mentioned earlier, that this was clearly articulated in a funny way, but I don't think the OP is bashing Rolex. In fact it sounds like he loves Rolex, but just feels he only needs one, and on a side note IMO he has picked the best all around Rolex you can get.

There are dozens of other threads discussing owning only 1 Rolex, this is more or less the same, but the conversation entered through a back door ;)

Saying "goodbye" over and over again doesn't make sense considering he's still a Rolex owner who may still have plenty to contribute. On the same token, announcing you've decided on a one and only Rolex doesn't mean every other watch purchased from here on out should be an invicta, or citizen or seiko. Anyway, maybe I'm wrong but I think people need to relax a bit.

I own an skx007 that I love btw!

yes, they are too uptight. is it due to the stressful environment?

you are right about my opinion. i ask for recommendation, TRF men gives me the best option i.e. SubC. I have got it. now I am looking to add another great pieces to my collection. that is why i was looking at GMT2/BLNR, SUB/HULK, Daytona but SubC is a winner

Chadridv, Thanks for interpreting my thoughts

i am a Rolex lover

Sounds like you're happy with your Sub, so enjoy it and move on to another brand.

If DJ is too plain then it's time to go PM Rolex, but if Cyclops is also an issue then PM Daytona, otherwise AP or PP.
