Yes to the Daytona. I have owned a couple and they are excellent. But try one on to be sure.

Daytona. No doubt. It will last a lifetime and if necessary easily flipped.

I would go with the Daytona. But if you're open to TT, then there are a few more dial choices from the standard black and white. And you can get pretty close to your budget with some judicious shopping.

Look at the APs a few here have mentioned. You might also be able to squeeze in a lightly used AP Diver at that price.

Good luck 👍

What else do you have in your collection?

From the choices you've listed I would go SS Daytona black dial. I'm wearing mine today and it is a beauty without equal.

I might be in the minority but I would take the JLC.
Stainless Daytona is featherweight

Add a few bucks and get an AP 15300 with blue or white dial.

Daytona from those choices, however, I would also consider adding a smidge to get an AP 15400ST

I tend to agree. A 15400 might be a fun change of pace

I too personally would go with an AP, especially if you already have a few Rolex. As far as JLC, my favorite is the meteorite dial master calendar, but might be out of your budget. I also love the geophysic but a little expensive for a time only watch.
