Why wait and take it to your home AD when you can post a few pics here and let the experts tell you before you leave the country you bought in and can potentially resolve? doesn't add up.

Might want to double check the AP you got two days ago, too, if that was also a Russian purchase. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=421100

Well, he did say he got it cheap. When do you ever get a genuine Rolex cheap?

Tiny Cyclops. You post picture of your watch, then tell us it's all good to go??

The people here helped you to determine that your watch may be fake, but instead of doing the things that those very same ask, you say, "This is not entertainment or thrills for me."

It is frustrating trying to help you. You could have easily posted more pictures, and had the folks here namely, Old Expat Beast, give you Solid tells that the watch and at least the accessories are fake.

Next time someone helps you save $6000, I would thank them for pointing out the issue and also post up pics to determine what the Blatant Issues are!

Nothing about that watch or accessories looks genuine, and I should know as I own one.

12 o'clock SEL fit is way off, bezel engraving looks too shallow and improperly spaced that's the extend of what I gather from that picture. And that box and tag are off too.

Bezel looks fishy to me. Also nobody sells a hulk for that price. It's like burning 1500 dollars.

I would definitely be taking some steps to determine authenticity at this stage. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

I think the differences are glaring! and I'm not even wearing my glasses

No hologram--Endlinks--color of hang tag string-- round Rolex crowntips---ceramic engraving--what else?

The folks here are trying to help not hurt.

Hope you get it resolved. Unsure why anyone would sell a real watch with fake accessories.

The crown looks a bit thick compared to mine and a bit too close to the bezel, but that could just be the camera zoom I guess.

Waiting till you get home is too late IMO.

One glance at the crown and the crown guards tells me its a flat out fake watch.

You HAVE been scammed, so why wait to try and clear this up?

Unless you knew it was fake from the get go.

You should trying to get your eh hmm, cough, "co-worker's" money back asap.

Reminds of the, "soooo...I have this friend of mine, and he has a rash...." story.

If it's a fake, and it seems it is, I feel bad for the guy. If he truly has been scammed I think some of the posts have been a bit harsh.

Agree. Although he, like others before him, come on the scene boasting of the great deal they got on a Rolex, which turns out to be fake. Which inspires a bit of schadenfreude. I do hope he gets his money back.

What specifically about the end links indicates a fake? I'm having trouble seeing it.

At least the OP has options as he bought from a co-worker.

Completely agree and I hope too, but it wouldn't be a bet I'd make.

I'd like to see it stay open to hear the outcome with his coworker.

I do think the thread should be moved to the "Watch Out" section.
