How much value are you putting on the yachtmaster as a trade in? Seems like a very expensive trade.....yachtmaster + 5-7k USD for a 15400ST

It's an upgrade yeah, but would I spend 5-7k USD more on a trade? I might not. Maybe you might want to just add the 15400ST to your collection rather than trade in the YM.

Thx for your advise
I was in the same boat man. Back and forth about trading one for my Rolexes, I actually decided to do it and I'm proud to announce that this coming Friday I will be upgrading one of my subs plus cash for an AP Diver. Cant wait to join the AP family. I do hear that they scratch easy, but I have a colleague who says that he wears his AP Diver daily and you just have to be cautious. None the less I am excited.

Do it, I just joined the AP gang with a diver with SS bracelet as well. It really is a stunning piece. I am now contemplating selling another one of the Rolex to help me fund a 26401 rose gold. I love this brand at the moment!

Thanks for your feedback. Btw, 15400 black looks great on you! May I ask the size of your wrist?

I really don't think it wears bigger than the SubC. It feels lighter, less thick, has a flatter case back (more comfortable), and the wider bracelet gives it a more balanced feel.

Looking forward to your incoming!Attachment 643528

I am planning on using it as daily watch. I work in office and smart casual attire. Also own GMT2c and Nautilus 5726/1A so trying to find something to fit in between.

You can, but I don't know it!

Due to the curvature of the RO, the way it wears on you will be largely dependent on your wrist shape.

Also, don't focus on just your wrist. Wrist shots are often skewed because they are such a small portion of your arm. I think it's best to take a look at a full length mirror while trying one on at the AD. It will give you a MUCH better perspective of how the watch actually looks on you.

Since my first AP I acquired in December 2014 I have not put a single Rolex on my wrist once......and I probably won't again. Zero desire. So do it, you won't regret it.

Sounds like some consolidation is in order!

I honestly think it looks good. I personally feel a watch is only too big for your wrists if the lugs hangover on both sides of your wrist. It looks like the lugs are hugging the curves of your wrist.

And again, you have to look at how it looks on your whole arm, not just a small section of it (ie wrist).

I would agree, I think the size is pretty good. The lugs curve right over the side of your wrist. I feel like the 15400 is best on anyone which med/large wrists that are on the wide side.

I'm about to purchase a 15400 silver dial for myself and it wears similarly on me. My friend has the 15202 and while I absolutely love the piece, I felt the 15400 just looked more proportional on my wrist.

And yeah, when I tried it on, I always went for the full body mirror. And since the 15400 is pretty minimalistic in it's design, I don't feel like it looks as big on the wrist compared to more aggressively styled watches of the same size.

Does look better on ur right wrist, but def doesn't look bad on ur left. Only one answer, wear ur PP on ur left and the AP on ur right... Same time is optional, lol.

I think the 15400 looks good on the left wrist as well but if you feel it's oversized for you, then look for the 15300 if you can find one or the 15202. That's a lot of coin to spend and not be happy.
