Very nice! If the glass is strong the friction shouldn't be enough to scratch it from turning it over. I would think a cut diamond with a little pressure would wreak havock on the glass, but there's no pressure behind the stones. I think this is a great clock.

Is it just me or does it look like there's water inside?
This would probably account for the non-scratching of the glass, due to them floating to the bottom insead of just hitting hard and bouncing all over. Very nice indeed.
