Good point. When I get to the point that I have to sell my watches to buy food, then it's time to worry.

Anyway, I was in this boat yesterday (Monday) when the market was down 4% or so... I pissed away a bunch of money trying to time the market, and then sent a wire to pay for my new watch. I'd rather have the watch, as it will still be worth something next week.

Anyway, it's really two different buckets of money - the investing bucket, and the shiny bauble bucket.
