Same thing here!

I hate the slow-loading disclaimer. And once you're in, it's a nightmare to navigate!

Problem is that if you spend the time to learn your way around, there's little of value to the WIS.

The web designers who are paid to design the sites of watch makers think of the watches as jewelry before function and they are probably correct. As bad as the Omega site is, it at least, gives some of the technical aspects of the various models. Suspect that's why we hang around the boards like we do.

Believe it or not, it's far better than it was a few years ago.

I said essentially the same thing in this thread.

If the Rolex website is so technically advanced, then it should give the viewer the option of bypassing all the au courant, futuristic dazzle and let that person look at watches. I mean, that's why people go there, right?

"slow computer" is a horrible excuse. I get 15mbps/1.5. That should be plenty to load any website. For me, it's not the slowness, but as someone said, it's the seemingly random navigation. Completely non-intuitive. Most websites go through some sort of user acceptance testing...this one obviously didn't go through any.
