Great post! Loved reading about the evolution of the collection...which I must say, is a most enviable one!

I laughed at your Sub phase, because there was a point in the evolution of my collection also when I had three black Subs. As you said, "the Submariner was all I could think about."

Nice to see you can "limit" yourself to a nice 4-6 watch collection. This is really the best way to go in my opinion, but I find it very difficult to choose the right watches when there are so many great choices! Thank you Sam. I wouldn’t say no regrets as selling my 5711 now would have been much preferred to 2 years ago

but seriously the watches I have let go we’re all for a reason, sometimes when they’re gone we forget why (like old girlfriends) but ultimately that little tick (pun intended) returns.
