So I know it's only a few days and I have been waiting 2ish years but the usps says it won't be delivered until Monday via registered mail.

I have another rolex and an omega now so it's not like I just have to have it but yes I am excited as once I have this watch the only other "expensive" watch I need is a navitimer, to have all the watches I really dreamed of growing up.

Congrats!

...Sure it will be a beauty and looking forward to some pics when it arrives....Done when the Navitimer arrives? The wonderful affliction of collecting does not end so easily imho! As a good friend often says: "Onwards and upwards Rodders, onwards and upwards!!" (SPUDS) --

No I am quite sure that when it arrives I will not be done but I will need to take a break. We would like to have a child or two and the money I am using for my watches and firearms will start to be funneled into accounts for the kid(s), so that we can continue to contribute to our retirement accounts and stocks, etc. Once I get those started on a good foot I will save for a platinum Daytona, as it has caught my eye. That will be a long save as I refuse to touch my trust fund and we don't make any real money between the two of us now. Once we cover the mortgage, her student loans, retirement, savings, stock accounts, etc we have about 50 bucks a month to play with. My side business funds my toys and house improvements.

Congratulations on the new watch!!! I'm certain you'll enjoy it. It's very versatile with the ability to switch out the bracelet easily.

I wore my 14060 yesterday; one of my favorite watches...took it off it's bracelet and wore in on a leather Nato.

So it was supposed to be delivered today but no such luck. I hate hate hate the usps! I called the main customer service line and was treated very rudely. Then I called my local post office and was again treated very rudely by a very defensive man. Then I called the sorting center where it is and a very nice lady was very polite and apologized for the delay. Explained that I was not the only one and that a truck broke down but that I should hope to see it tomorrow and Wednesday at the outside. The truck story is probably bs but at least she was polite.

What is the polishing cloth going to do for you? I hit my stainless steel sub with the toothbrush and warm water and soap. And not the same toothbrush I use in my mouth by the way lol.

The polishing cloth will probably not be of any real use at all and is not my real concern anyway. It's a cloth I have 50 or more of them that just don't say rolex. The watch is my real concern.

So it finally made it here after a fight with the us postal service. It spent 4 days in a city 4hrs from me with no explanation.

But without further a due:

I am in love!!!

Huge thanks to Alex Collector!!
