A fellow I know bought the one that NFL receiver Chad Johnson (aka Ochocinco) owned...he said it's a great collector piece but not wearable. Paid $27k for it.

Watches that big are fine... they just need a New Way to secure watch to arm...lol

I wonder what a REgular DSSD or SD4000 would look like at 40,000 depth...?

Didn't Rolex only make 3 of the Challenge watches? I have never seen one on anyone's wrist. I would love to see and handle it tho.

Love the DSSD. Especially the D-Blue dial. So cool and very unique.

So I searched on google it seems you cant find a 40000 foot wire spool to attach watch and large rock to -- then toss over the side of boat (36,201 feet) at The Mariana Trench
Could not find one :(
Fairly disappointing :(
They canceled myth busters didn't they ?

I am sure there is a guy out there big enough to pull that off on his wrist. You won't want to mess with him.

Me? That will fit my ankle just fine. Thank you very much.

You'd need arms like a bear to wear that!

Well, don't forget; you can cut the weight way down with a nato.

The "challenge" would be to wear it without developing a spine problem.

I'm sure it'll fit very well on the wrist on a light nato strap lol.

The watch also doubles as ballast.

What? A Deep Sea Challenge? I wasn't aware of any being released to the public. Do you have any proof of this?

Evidently Ochocinco has a thing for counterfeit watches...

Shame if your buddy paid 27K for it.
