Thanks again everyone! Sorry but I'm not sure how to link multiple posts in my post to thank people from my iPhone.

Also, sorry for the confusion as I'm dealing with jet lag as I write this. Yes, this is a new watch. I actually received it a week or so ago before my trip but didn't have time to post.

Thanks Larry. My intent to be "done" is severely being tested as I walk around Hong Kong on vacation. Surely a "watch Heaven" here. I find myself feeling like a person on a diet at a Vegas buffet! LOL

As Ive been watch window shopping, my wife just whispered to me, "maybe just one more". I truly love my wife!

Passing by a vintage shop I saw a Pepsi GMT. Wow. I get it now. Seeing this watch in photos does not do it justice. No. There will not be another incoming anytime soon but have to say I was impressed with that reference.

That is remarkably sharp; I've never seen the dial before and I really like its uniqueness!!!

I started sourcing the black dial and hands soon after I got my ice blue DD2. It was actually my plan before I made the first purchase. My AD said he would be willing to switch in and out as I like so it made sense to try to get both dial sets. I asked a few sellers here, but was not successful. My AD also couldn't find thru his contacts. With this black dial being available for DD2 in YG, WG and platinum metals, I thought sourcing the dial would be easy. However the YG version wouldn't work because the crown on this dial is gold color. I found a few listings for my dial on eBay but didn't include hands. Also the condition of the dial from what I could tell from photos was not good. Now with Rolex closing the DD2 line I didn't know whether or not this would help or hurt my continued search for the black dial set. So I made the decision to buy the watch.
